Terms of Service

Last updated: February 2026

These terms govern your use of the Eat Vermont platform and membership services. Please read them carefully before creating an account or making a purchase.

1.Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or purchasing a membership on Eat Vermont ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

Eat Vermont is operated by Eat Vermont LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms govern your use of our website at eatvermont.com, our mobile applications, and all related services.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be communicated via email.

2.Membership Plans and Payments

Eat Vermont offers the following membership plans:

• Monthly: $8/month, billed monthly • Annual: $48/year, billed once annually (save 50%) • 2-Year: $96 billed once, valid for 24 months • 3-Year: $144 billed once, valid for 36 months • Vacation Pass: $7 one-time, valid for 7 days

All prices are in USD and include applicable taxes where required by law. Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice to active members.

Recurring subscriptions (Monthly and Annual plans) automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. You will receive a reminder email before each renewal.

By providing your payment information, you authorize Eat Vermont to charge your payment method for the selected plan and any applicable renewals.

3.Stripe Payment Processing

All payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. ("Stripe"), a third-party payment processor. By making a purchase, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service (stripe.com/legal) and Privacy Policy (stripe.com/privacy).

Eat Vermont does not store your card number, CVV, or other sensitive payment details. When you enter payment information, it is transmitted directly to Stripe over encrypted connections. Eat Vermont receives only a tokenized reference to your payment method.

Stripe is a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. In the event of a payment dispute or question about a charge, please contact us first at support@eatvermont.com before filing a chargeback, as most issues can be resolved quickly.

4.Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your Account Dashboard under "Membership." Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain full access to member benefits through that date.

One-time purchases (2-Year, 3-Year, and Vacation Pass) are non-transferable and non-refundable except where required by law.

Refunds for Monthly and Annual subscriptions may be requested within 7 days of a charge if you have not used member perks during that period. To request a refund, contact support@eatvermont.com with your account email and order details. Refunds are issued to the original payment method and may take 5–10 business days to appear.

Eat Vermont reserves the right to cancel memberships that are found to violate these Terms, in which case a prorated refund of unused time may be issued at our discretion.

5.User Conduct

By using Eat Vermont, you agree not to:

• Misrepresent your identity or impersonate any person or entity • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law • Attempt to access accounts or systems you are not authorized to access • Scrape, crawl, or programmatically extract data from the Service without written permission • Share your account credentials or allow others to use your membership benefits • Submit false or misleading reviews, listings, or content • Engage in conduct that interferes with or disrupts the Service

Violations may result in suspension or permanent termination of your account without refund.

6.Eat Vermont Platform — Discovery and Perks

Eat Vermont provides a curated directory of Vermont farms, restaurants, sugarhouses, bakeries, and food producers ("Places"). Member perks, discounts, and offers ("Perks") are provided by individual partner businesses.

Eat Vermont does not guarantee the availability, accuracy, or quality of any listed Place or Perk. Businesses may change their hours, offerings, or participation in the platform at any time. We recommend confirming details directly with a business before visiting.

Member Perks are subject to the individual terms and conditions set by each partner business. Eat Vermont is not responsible for a partner's failure to honor a Perk, though we will work to resolve disputes in good faith.

Listing in the Eat Vermont directory does not constitute an endorsement by Eat Vermont of any business, product, or service.

7.Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Eat Vermont LLC, its officers, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to Eat Vermont in the 12 months preceding the claim.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liabilities. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

8.Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted to this page with an updated "Last updated" date. For material changes — including changes to pricing, refund policy, or user rights — we will provide at least 30 days' notice via email before the changes take effect.

Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you may cancel your membership before the changes take effect.
